Kaskade wrapped his massively successful Atmosphere Tour with three sold-out shows at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, CA.
Thousands of fans came from all over the nation to see the Grammy-nominated DJ and producer perform some of the most spectacular shows of his career. Promoted as “Big Rooms, Small Tour,” Kaskade played 6 shows in 4 cities: Miami, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. For an artist who has so much critical acclaim, the new studio album and tour had high expectations, and Kaskade did not disappoint.
DPS provided over 100 lighting fixtures for Lighting Designer John T. McGuire and Lighting Director Cat West including Martin MAC Viper Profile Spots, GLP Impression X4s, Chauvet Nexus 4X4s, Martin MAC 700 Profile Spots, Clay Paky Sharpys and Martin Atomic Strobe 3000 DMXs.
“Cat West is an absolute delight to work with and John T. McGuire is a nice guy with a really good brain in his head”, said Crew Chief Drew Johnston. “The GLP Impression X4 is a very impressive little light, and they used a lot of them. I got to work with a really great crew of guys who got everything done in a timely and efficient manner. We also worked with brand new lighting gear which was really nice. I don’t know a lot of Crew Chiefs who get to take a lighting rig that is almost entirely brand new. Overall my experience working with DPS has been very positive.”
Voted “America’s Best DJ” for a second time by Pioneer DJ and DJ Times, Kaskade has taken electronic dance music to new heights. “Atmosphere”, which features his own vocal compositions, debuted at No. 16 on The Billboards Top 200 when it was released in September.
